Childnet Digital Leaders visit Parliament and meet MPs

Digital Leaders from Passmores Academy and St Paul’s School were invited to a ‘Digital Safety Drop In’ hosted by Facebook at The House of Commons on Wednesday.

Andrew Bowie MP kindly hosted the event for our Digital Leaders and Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, and MPs were invited to attend to hear more about peer to peer schemes in schools and talk directly to young people involved in these programmes.

We were delighted to meet Digital Leaders from Passmores Academy and St Paul’s School. They did a fantastic job informing MPs about how they help other students in their school stay safe online.

Shaan, Arsh, Parker and Eliyahu were given a tour of the House of Commons by Zac Goldsmith MP (Conservative, Richmond Park):
