Looking at the best ways to keep up to date with the latest Film Competition news at the finalists’ event.
Childnet’s 9th annual Film Competition finalists’ event will be held on Tuesday 3rd July. This year the theme of the competition is ‘Connect with Respect’, inviting young people to use films to encourage their peers to behave positively online.
We had more entries than ever before this year, with over 200 schools from across the UK entering the competition. We had the hard task of shortlisting these entries to just 6 films, which will be judged by our expert panel at the finalists’ event.
All of the finalists’ films are shown on the big screen at the BFI and the young people will be given an opportunity to share what they learnt and enjoyed most about making their films. The event will be attended by government representatives, industry guests and all of the young filmmakers.
